Benefits of Routine Dental Care

Why It Matters

WHY IT MATTERS

Dental Health Is Part of
Overall Health

Most pet owners focus on grooming, nutrition, and exercise, but dental health is often overlooked. Plaque and tartar buildup can lead to bad breath, painful infections, gum disease, tooth loss, and even contribute to health issues affecting the heart, liver, and kidneys.

Routine dental maintenance helps prevent these problems before they become serious and costly.

What Is Non-Anesthetic
Dental Cleaning?

Non-anesthetic dental cleaning is a gentle dental maintenance procedure performed while your pet is awake and comfortably restrained. Unlike traditional veterinary dental procedures that require anesthesia, our service focuses on removing visible plaque and calculus from the teeth while helping maintain oral health through regular preventative care.

This service is ideal for cooperative pets with light to moderate tartar buildup and healthy gums.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Non-anesthetic dental cleaning is not a replacement for veterinary dentistry. Pets showing signs of advanced dental disease, infected gums, loose teeth, oral masses, or other serious dental concerns may be referred to a veterinarian for further evaluation and treatment.

THE PROCESS

Our Dental Cleaning Process

Every dental cleaning follows the same five-step process designed to be thorough, gentle, and stress-free for your pet.

1

Gentle Swaddling & Comfort Positioning

Your pet is safely and comfortably swaddled to reduce stress and movement during the procedure.

2

Plaque & Calculus Removal

Using specialized dental instruments, plaque and tartar are carefully removed from the teeth and along the gumline.

3

Professional Polishing

A prophy paste is applied to polish the teeth and smooth the enamel surface.

4

Chlorhexidine Rinse

A chlorhexidine rinse is used to help reduce bacteria and support gum health.

5

After Photos

After photos are taken so you can see the results for yourself.
